Since the last launcher update it does not start up again after the first attempt when I close it after DT to trigger the download of potential patches. I have to click the shortcut several times.
Would review https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/5887708213276-Launcher-does-not-start and see if any of these suggestions work, otherwise may need to get with support to troubleshoot.
