Launcher doesn't work when laptop docked

Hello,
When I plug my laptop into my thinkpad docking station the launcher doesn’t open. When I unplug it, it works fine. To run eve while my laptop is plugged into the dock I have to open the launcher before I plug in, then dock it, then launch eve from the launcher.

Any ideas why this is happening or fixes?

sounds more like a PC issue than a game issue.

Doesn’t happen with any other programs, so I don’t feel like that’s the case.
