I’m now 40+, with kids, spent most of my entire EVE life in nullsec and sees highsec as a scary place most of the time. I’ve been everything from a line member to roles within leadership, so I am not difficult to work with either way. I am above avarage active most days, and on the side for the last year I’ve been living in a C3 WR with a few friends I can count on 1 hand, except “living” is generous.
This small group is mostly absent or quiet, and for the most part I’m the only one scanning, rolling, and keeping the hole clean. Any PvP content that shows up, I can’t really contest solo, so it’s just dunking a few relic hunters and feeling bad about it after.
I do suffer from the long term EVE paranoia, where I see any scenario as a possible trap, which is why I tend to overkill on my own personal safety barriers in most of my activeties.
I know my fair share of WH life & mechanics in and around C3s, but not done C4->C6. It would be fun to try, but I am not mainly into WHs for ISK earnings, but rather getting better at & enjoying smaller scale PvP in any and all forms, where PVE is a bonus activety on the side.
I’m honest enough to admit there’s probably a lot I dont know, so posting this to see if it exists at least a semi-active, adult group that would consider me when knowing the transparent details that follows below.
I have 6 toons I use as my neutral highsec / WH characters. However, most of my mains still live in nullsec with the corp Ive been with for years and I will stay there for now while trying things out. Both due to loyalty sentiment and my ingame assets. No spai attempt, which is why I opt to be 100% transparent about my current EVE life up front. I just want to try something different in controlled steps.
What I could bring:
Adult guy with a positive attitude.
I currently use my own neutral corp with no structures attached for anything related to WHs and Highsec. Optimally ACL would work, but I could also re-arrange toons to be able to swap corps.
2 characters @ 150M / 85M SP, who can fly a decent chunk of what matters I guess. I.e Logi, T3D, Trig ships. 1 Caldari Dread/FAX, with 4 alts for scanning, Praxis/Sigil rolling, and eyes.
Fully self-sufficient on ISK, I pay for my Omega, anything earned ingame goes towards ingame content.
I do like PVE as a group activety, even though my main goal is not to krab, but to perhaps get dropped while krabbing and be able to fight back. (though I must say I do consider myself a gas huffer at heart, bless bob)
