Lucas Tenzin has been bought by the Amarr

During his interview, Senator Tenzin spoke mostly of his desires to help the peoples of the Federation. He most certainly is a critic of the Federal AID act, that is not in question. However, he has no political support from formal political parties, no means of raising campaign funds and most of his supporters are unemployed. Yet he has somehow polled at 33% with the other two candidates.

Now, let’s look at Senator Tenzin’s offering to capsuleers, his very own modified Guidance Disrupter. Guidance Disrupters are effective against Caldari ships, of which Tenzin has fought against, so the surface shows nothing out of the ordinary. However, this technology is often found and amplified by Amarrian ships, not Gallenteans who prefer sensor damps to bring enemies in close. What could the Amarr gain by buying off a candidate?

The Amarr Empire has a long dispute with the Minmatar people, of whom they have enslaved even since meeting them. They are bitter enemies, and the Minmatar have since gained allies with the Caldari, and have been ascendant of the “Big Four” with their current economic boon. We are of course gladdened by their (the Minmatar) ability to stand on their own, however this is causing concern within the Amarr Empire. They need an ally to at least occupy the Caldari’s focus, and less pressure from the Gallente Navy along the shared Amarrian/Gallente border.

What I am alleging is that Senator Tenzin is being supported by the Amarr, in return for assurance of increased diplomatic ties, increased trade, and the ability for the Amarr to bring more Minmatar people back into slavery.

Baseless conjecture.

If this is your logic then Roden is the one to match that description to a T.

Roden’s Grandpa is one who has actually defended against Amarrian attacks when he was president. I highly doubt she would draw down Gallente patrols along the Amarrian/Gallente border.

A son does not necessarily follow in his father’s footsteps; a son can even go against his parents’ principles.

I’m not accusing Roden of it. I’m saying Roden matches your ‘‘theory’’ better than Tenzin. In any way, I am against baseless speculations. Provide proof or it’s all hearsay.

How is Tenzin making a better guidance disrupter than the Amarrians, Sansha, and the Blooders with their specialized ewar?

Maybe he has spies with the Amarr? Or friends. I have Amarrian friends, some of them are very decent guys. I’m not jumping from specialized technology to ‘being bought up’. I mean, it’s your theory, but at worst it just looks distasteful. Maybe a bit funny. And I’m not buying your reasoning behind it. If the Amarr want to keep Gallente (and Caldari) busy, all they have to do is turn their heads toward Roden. They don’t have to start ‘‘buying up’’ and turning a whole new asset for themselves for that purpose.

The friendly angle is more credible to me. The Amarr and the Gallente have history in successful technological co-operation. SoE hulls are the result of it. I for one also support more such co-operation between the two factions. Seems like Tenzin does too. Nothing necessarily wrong with that.

I’m against anyone who would consider the Amarr as anything less than an enemy. The Amarr have infiltrated many levels of CONCORD, have betrayed the Caldari, and let us not forgot that half of my people are still enslaved by those vile fiends.

The SOE? The very same who have dealt with the Deathless in upgrading their hulls in exchange for who knows what? I would also hardly credit the SOE as a joint venture between the Amarrian and Gallentean governments.

I did not say ‘governments’.
