Mechanics of 'Warp to > 0 km"

Let’s say you were able to plot, over a long period of time, a thousand players or so who seleted the sun in a given system, and selected “Warp 100km from.”

Would the landing points be tightly clustered together, distributed randomly around a 2-d circle 100km in radius (centered on the sun), or distributed randomly around a 3-d sphere, 100km in radius, centered on the sun - or something else weird and completely different from what I’m envisioning?

Does this “shape” vary at all depending on the type of warpable entity? (station, gate, asteroid field, etc.)

Depends completely on the celestial that everyone warps from, if 2 players warp form the same celestial they will land on each other.
