Have warp path/ bubble mechanics changed?

It used to be pretty easy to predict where someone would land in a warp disruption bubble. Draw a line from point of origin to target of warp, and see where that line intersects the bubble - I used to find the point of intersection by superimposing things on screen using the camera. This worked for years, but is not working now. It seems that people now land up to 6k away from the point of intersection.

Has anyone else noticed this?

(I am not exactly sure when this changed, but a couple of months ago, this was still working.)
