Oh, can you even follow threads anymore? I’m starting to miss the old (new) forums already…

You were on top earlier now it’s 3rd. Also the comment I’m replying to right now “in a different order” isn’t visible when I’m logged out. I don’t mean “out of order” I mean clicking for more replies doesn’t even show it.

I can live with that guy’s orca and 3 exhumers outperforming me pre-mining changes. But doing power creep things that forces me to get new skills to get close to what I had before (for example needing a hecate when I didn’t before if oyu want a non mining exmaple) while that 4 boxer can easily get back too his old baseline easily is what pisses me off. It’s not that I don’t want to play with multiboxers (In fact, I think I’m the last solo boxer of my corp since we lost 30 in a year and the last 2 promoted to triple boxing or 4 boxing when they mine) it’s when they nerf what I did before and giving multbioxers a pass that makes me mad.

If you are thinking they somehow get a free pass that isnt correct. Enough people, imo, complained and FC listened and gave us an avenue to obtain some of the losses of residue back with these new skills. That Multiboxers get it somehow automatically is false though. They would have to train the skills just like everyone, and so it basically levels the playing field a bit.

Yes, it is power creep but it isnt as awful as it seems to come across. Players get back some of the losses of residue, particularly if they are dedicated miners that mine a longer time period per session.

Also, many multiboxers don’t train skills anymore on mining accounts and only SP farm the Omega accounts. This means they will make less isk as they will need to use that sp to train the new skills instead of dumping them on the market in skill injector form.

Or how about lemon juice inside the Pod?

That thought hasnt a’curd’ to me but I will s’cream’ about it later. :smiling_face_with_horns:

then remove residue too…

You posted at the same level which means chronology is inferior to amount of likes, so I can bump your later post to above Geo’s with a like, like in reddit!

At least, I think that is how this new forum works. It’s weird.

I prefer chronological linear replies.

Then there will be more ore to mine and that would result in more time a barge is undocked resulting in a compromise to the green safety highsec system changes.

Btw I’m still curious about what is the punchline.

That’s terrible design, I think this format is not very good.

Then why add them? Its complexity for no benefit.

So they should remove half of all ore in all the roids again?

Because, you know, they doubled it when implementing residue…

There are still ppl that dont believe the roids were doubled

I’m having trouble too.

The non-threaded version was easier to follow.

I saw there were three new posts but opening it only showed the last so I had to go digging to find this one and the other.

And? Your point is? If they remove the(positive) crit the logical step is to remove the negative crit(residue) too while keeping the amount…the amount has nothing do do with crits may they be positive or negative…but you can NOT simply remove the positive while keeping the negative…

Sure they can. It’s their game. They can do whatever they like.

Not saying they should remove crits. I honestly don’t care, I just find this mechanic not adding anything benefitial to the game beyond “just increase yield”. What they should have done is making mining more interesting, challening and rewarding if you are good at it. And that doesn’t mean “activate a module and watch it cycle”.
