I was browsing the forum and saw someone mention that:
“a solo Procurer with max mining skills pulls 26.2m3/s” I am nowhere near that number and I thought I have max mining skills.
Do you guys have a mining yield table to see which skills to improve on?
That might be using a max yield proc. Utilizing mining yield mods instead of tank mods.
Ran a simulation with my mining alt: 13.2 m3/s for each Modulated strip miner = 26.4 m3/s total and that does NOT include mining drones.
You need following set up;
Procurer with 2 x T2 Modulated Strip Miners, each with T2 Ore Specific Mining Crystals and 3 x T2 Mining Laser Upgrades on low slots.
Rigs or Mid slots do not matter.
All mining, no tank set up. Wouldn’t want to use anywhere except Hi-Sec or well guarded mining op.
You get that with following skills for maxing mining amount;
Mining V, Astrogeology V, Mining Barge V.
Mining upgrades IV for T2 Mining Laser Upgrades.
Ore Specific Processing IV for T2 Mining Crystals separate for each ore.
Last one has lots of requirements, which increase when you move from Hi-Sec to Low- and Null Ores, so
Scordite Reprocessing IV needs Reprocessing IV, Science III for T2 Scordite Mining Crystals while Spodumain Reprocessing IV needs Reprocessing IV, Science III, Reprocessing Efficiency IV and Metallurgy III for the use of T2 Spodumain Mining Crystals.

Pyfa will let you play with fits for mining yield. I tried a fairly basic Procurer fit with a high skill character:

Mining Drone II x5
The results:
Adding an additional mining laser upgrade or Augmentor rig would bump the yield a bit but I don’t recommend it. The Procurer is intended to optimize tank over yield (64.7K EHP with my character and this fit). Play to its strength - for max yield use the Covetor but build an occasional loss into your business plan.
I haven’t used Pyfa in ages, but: Your modules are fine, but the Pyfa numbers are way off. Risus numbers (the poster above you) look plausible.
@Risu_Isu is showing 3 low slots - Procurer only has 2. I assume he tested a Covetor or Retriever - both of which have 3 low slots. Pyfa is up to date v2.38.1. If I run the test with “all 5” instead of my character I get 23.1 M3/s. Second mining laser upgrade II boosts yield to
Yes, that was my mistake. It was Covetor as there was no way the Procurer could get that high on pure lasers. Retriever sat between them with around 20m3/s. But skill set is correct.
