MOO, Nautgjipur, and a cow flying a Rorqual…

I was looking through yesterday’s Hoboleaks update and noticed three new SKINs for the Bullhead, Orca and Rorqual called Nautgjipur Industrial.

Five different lines.
Every single one spells M.O.O.

On the official EVE Discord, an event scheduled for today is simply called MOO.

Someone pointed out that “naut” relates to cattle/bulls in Icelandic, which sent usfurther down the rabbit hole. Nautgjipur is extremely close to the Icelandic nautgripur, meaning cattle.

At that point I went looking for what today’s MOO event actually was and… well.

There is going to be an actual cow in Iceland playing EVE Online.

FC CapitalCowPilot will be controlling a Rorqual using giant cow-proof buttons around her field and leading an open high-sec mining fleet. Apparently there will also be community goals during the stream which unlock reveals about the upcoming CoW major update.

I’ll be disappointed if the cow does not get an initiate-self-destruct-sequence button to play self-destruct chicken with while they mine.

Whoever was the genius to think this is funny/acceptable in 2026 should be sent to the farm to take cere of the animals to learn better.
