My experience of progressing in PvE

When the best in the business has shown you the way out of your rut…and you refuse to follow that advice by stating the same wosey me responses over and over…thats trolling my friend.

Somebody has already proven to you by actually posting solid proof that you can do this with a brand new character. You are a pure troll wanting people to either feel sorry for you or youre attempting to phish for isk or something. With all the time youve spent whining on this forum…you could have run many missions to make enough isk for that next step…nope you refuse to follow any advice…at this point you cant be helped any longer.

Just go play another game…EVE is clearly not for you.

The only T2 in my fit are the ballistic controls, and T2 are the cheap option. The T1 meta version costs 4x as much.

The fit I used is listed in the community fits. It’s basically there to be used by new players. I didn’t “min max” anything. I looked at it for about 5 seconds, said, “Yeah, that seems about right to me,” and went with it. It costs 5,229,317 isk in Jita right now for the whole package, and only 4,016,210 isk if you drop the 1500 faction missiles.

I could easily do the same thing with any faction.

Your posts are invariably about how the game needs to change because you’re failing. Have you tried posting, “So I’m trying to do XYZ and I’m struggling. Here are my skills and here is my fit. How can I stop failing?”

And, again, you can put that Kestrel together for about 4 million isk.

Except, there’s basically always a “one time” thing to take advantage of. Right now we have Capsuleer day, not too long ago we had the Gallente thing, the Holiday event track, the Halloween event track, yada yada yada. When there isn’t an event active, there are still other things to situationally and temporally take advantage of because Eve is constantly changing.

It also wasn’t critical to what I did, it would simply be foolish to not do it because you complete the event track while running the missions anyway. Totally passive, literally just a “Give money” button for something I was doing anyway.

I remember when I was pretty new to the game, a few weeks in and went to live in null sec.

Rats were a fair bit stronger and I was losing ships at a faster rate than I was gaining ISK to replace it. I had a few dozen million ISK from my week in HS but it was scary seeing it go down.

It took me some practice with flying perpendicular to the rat weapons in order for my Catalyst to tank the battleship shots well as I killed them for bounties. Eventually I managed to let my ISK go positive again, which was wonderful news as it meant I just had to repeat that same thing a bunch of times to buy more ships.

You already have positive ISK income, it seems, that’s great! Now just repeat it a few times more until you can buy what you need.

At this point in the game you’re at your lowest and newest point with the least knowledge and least skills, so it’s only going to get better, if only you learn.

EVE has many ways to make ISK, some require more investment than others, some more knowledge than others, some more skills than others. As you play you’ll learn more ways to make ISK and get to know what you like doing for ISK.

Maybe killing pirate NPCs isn’t what you’re after? Have you tried other activities?

@somegirlsarehot

Do Project Discovery and earn isk that way. Surely…surely you cant suck at drawing two boxes around dot clusters.

Hehe, I really suck at it… lol.

I do to…but it still pays.

Project discovery is a really low skill way with zero investment to earn ISK, it’s just not really engaging.

(I’ve gone for the level 500 reward twice. Would not recommend.)

I fully agree…but when the OP refuses to take any other form of advice and (according to the other thread the op stated they werent learning any skills) i just dont know where else the op can turn.

I can remember them being 9 million

That sounds more difficult than taking screenshots.

You just keep posting those phone pics…i wouldnt want those any other way.

That’s total bs…lvl for only pay around 20 mil + IF you loot and salvage everything…blitzing them only pays 10-15 million so for 800 million you would have to do 80 of them and this in 1.5h? Even with multiboxing this is totally impossible…

Last I did burner blitzing I was clearing 300m/hr with one character.

800 in 90 minutes is 533/hr. Seems feasible to me if you’re running multiple accounts.

If you are doing L4’s for the mission payout and loot, you’re doing it wrong. The real money in L4’s is the LP, and you get it by blitzing burners…

First, I’m using 3 characters (I’ve stated this previously, but just to clarify). Second, I loot + salvage where it’s worthwhile. Third, I run Burners (but not all of them).

I played for just over 70 minutes and raked in over a billion ISK. Highlights: 4x hacker cards ($30m), 1x rare Zor implant ($105m), LP loot ($450m) and salvage ($500m). I’m not including the $25-$30m ISK in reprocessed salvage.

I ran 2x “Enemy” series and looted and salvaged over $350m ISK alone from each.

Further to this, I mine and manufacture my own base materials for conversion in the Caldari Navy LP store - so my cost (other than time) is basically zero.

Everyone thinks these numbers can’t possibly be and must be exaggerated. Hey, what do I know - right? I made almost 500-billion ISK (that’s billion with a “b”) in late/2024-early/2025 before going on hiatus…

I’ve been back a week and I’m already up 6.5 billion ISK (little rusty - it has been over a year!) There are folks who make even more ISK than this…

I went with PI in a C2 wh. Very peaceful and profitable.

I run the “Enemy” series. It’s a guaranteed 350m+ ISK each time (standings be damned!)

One of these days I have to get back into wormholes…

Thats the public fit for an Amarr destroyer… low skill and 24 km fall off. Don’t know where the problem is.

I think the problem is the OP is not an amarr toon, but wants to user lasers coz T1 crystals don’t break, but they also don’t want to train any skills in game, because “Why should I have to?”
