In continuation of earlier proposal Blueprint filing cabinet i also suggest changing the overall sorting option you have..
Right now its one massive jumble in a small window to scroll through all these different groups.
here i simply suggest they do the following.
Make the selection window bigger.. maybe give it its own whole bar to the right side..
Add “Collapse” instead of having each category fully opened as it is right now
So as with the market have them put under head categories..
like “Rigs” “weapons” “ships” etc..
Id love to have an easy way to just scroll through a specific kind of BPs.
Like I want to see Only “Ships” “Reactions” Rigs" “Weapons” “drones” and so forth with this sorting option that should be easy possible..
For the market ESPECIALLY for Ships i would like to change the way ships are sorted today or add an alternative layout so players can choose either or.
Again right now to sit and see whats on sale of the different ships of a specific type say interceptors.
you have to click alot to check all the different factions..
So here i suggest it being Split up by ship type rather than factions.
So when i want to see interceptors.
then i see ALL the different factions interceptor type.
Here i suggest they are stacked in order by faction and you then add the respective faction icon to the left of the name like you currently have a faction icon to the left of the different faction subcategories in the market.
makes it much muuuch easier to get an overview.
Same goes if the sorting option is applied to BPs then its easier to quickly check up.

this is open for debate suggestions and constructive feedback
there could be better ways than the one here.

This is a rough sketch
Had to add a temp place for pirate faction didnt see an icon for it.
The different sub ship designation like “command ship” should stand a bit more out.
But the idea is i click Battlecruisers and it justs open the list with all the different battlecruisers a bit in the style of what is presented here.
so that i dont need to click a ton.
Again here we should use color coding out on the left.
Dark blue for BPO
Light blue for BPC followed by a number representing runs left
Grey for you have no BPs for it
And a mix where left half is dark blue and right half is light blue if you own both
Then when you click on a ship of your choice then you get the right side here..
right now that is just a copy pasta of the current production window.
i mean i aint getting paid for all this and no guarantee it will even be implemented.

I like this, especially the number of runs left on BPC. However, we first need the industrial window not to break when you have 25.001 BPC
If you are not able to see all of your BPC, you can’t make a proper choice, regardless of how many info you add on top
I think that A work around for that issue would come naturally using this..
As it wont load ALL your BPs
Like with the market.
It should only load the relevant BPs..
Say you clicked on Ships.
Then it should only load up your ships BPs..
Sure it is still possible that you could have 25.001 bpcs for ships alone.
But I figure this should still solve the issue for the majority of players.
This way should also make it quicker to navigate through and find the BPs you want, without straight up searching for it.
Ofc I can be wrong in my assumption here
