Eya there is so many blueprints in this game it becomes a mess to keep track of even with the use of containers.
How about adding a new kind of container that can only hold blueprints and same kind of container.
It would be amazing if you could add several layers of containers so it gives more organization options.
If there is any issue in regards to getting scanned a way to limit this would be to make different kind of containers.. so those you put all the other containers into are too big to transport unless packaged.

So if I understand correctly, basically make a secure ‘Blueprint Filing Cabinet’ container with multiple Folder tabs inside to organize and separate different types of Blueprints into specific sections…
I actually like the idea… Could even have different sizes of these ‘Blueprint Filing Cabinets’, each with a set amount of Folder tabs inside…
For example:
Blueprint Filing Cabinet
Small = 6 Folder tabs
Medium = 12 Folder tabs
Large = 18 Folder tabs
Huge = 24 Folder tabs
Giant = 30 Folder tabs
Course each Folder tab in the ‘Blueprint Filing Cabinet’ would only hold a set amount of Blueprints, maybe something like 50 Blueprints max in each Folder tab…

I realised that this actually sort another possible issue.
Since it will be a BP only container.
You dont risk that the product will end up in the container with the BP by mistake.

If you could link said Cabinet to a container or a specific location to take materials from and where to leave the output
that would be a nice little quality of life instead of you having to select it everytime with a new bp
and make sure you also have the right output location selected

Had to add a temp place for pirate faction didnt see an icon for it.
The different sub ship designation like “command ship” should stand a bit more out.
But the idea is i click Battlecruisers and it justs open the list with all the different battlecruisers a bit in the style of what is presented here.
so that i dont need to click a ton.
Again here we should use color coding out on the left.
Dark blue for BPO
Light blue for BPC followed by a number representing runs left
Grey for you have no BPs for it
And a mix where left half is dark blue and right half is light blue if you own both
Then when you click on a ship of your choice then you get the right side here..
right now that is just a copy pasta of the current production window.
i mean i aint getting paid for all this and no guarantee it will even be implemented.
