Hey, (Move if not posted in the right place)
I’ve been working on an EVE project called New Eden Ledger for a while now, mostly because I wanted something like it for myself.
There are already some great EVE tools out there, and honestly, EVE wouldn’t be the same without the people who spend their time building them. I don’t see New Eden Ledger as a replacement for those tools.
I just wanted to make my own take on it, with a focus on making trading statistics a bit easier to understand and the whole thing more accessible. It also works properly on a phone, which was important to me.
It’s now getting close enough to finished that I’d like to get some more people using it and see what breaks, what doesn’t make sense, and what could be improved.
So I’m opening it up as a public preview.
What does it actually do?
The main thing New Eden Ledger tries to do is give you a clearer picture of how your EVE trading is actually going.
It tracks your account value over time, so instead of only seeing today’s wallet balance you can see whether you’re actually growing your wealth over weeks and months.
It also keeps statistics on your trading and shows things like which items are making you the most ISK, where your profits are coming from and how your trading has been performing.
One thing I wanted from the beginning was to separate Station Trading from Regional Trading.
Buying and selling in the same station is treated separately from buying somewhere like Jita and selling in Amarr or Dodixie. That makes it much easier to see which type of trading is actually making you money.
You can also connect multiple traders/characters to the same account, so the numbers don’t have to be split between a bunch of characters just because that’s how you happen to trade in EVE.
“So… what should I trade?”
Probably one of the most common questions people ask when getting into EVE trading.
New Eden Ledger has Trade Opportunities for both station and regional trading.
The idea isn’t simply to sort the market by the biggest theoretical margin and tell you to buy it.
It looks at things like profit, ROI, market activity, volume, available supply and other signals to try to find trades that may actually be interesting.
You still have to make the decision yourself — this is EVE after all — but hopefully it gives you a much better starting point than staring at the market window wondering what to search for.
Tracking progress
I also wanted there to be a bit more of a sense of progression.
There are Achievements based on your actual trading/mining progress, as well as the ability to set your own ISK goals and track your progress towards them.
It’s a small thing, but I personally like having something to work towards rather than just watching the wallet number move around.
Public preview
Everyone who connects a character currently gets a 10-day free trial with everything unlocked.
After that:
Station – 50M ISK / 30 days
Station Trading and Station Opportunities.
Regional – 400M ISK / 30 days
Includes Station plus Regional Trading and Regional Opportunities.
There are no real-money payments. It’s all paid with ISK in-game.
Some of the non-trading parts of the site remain available without a trading subscription.
EVE SSO
Login is through EVE SSO, and you can link several EVE characters to one New Eden Ledger account.
As with any third-party EVE tool, don’t just trust a forum post telling you it’s safe. Check the scopes CCP shows you on the SSO page before accepting them.

Feedback is very welcome — including criticism. If something is confusing, useless, missing or just annoying to use, I’d rather know about it now.
