New Eden Tycoon — Personal EVE Market Tracking Suite [WIP]

Hey capsuleers,

I’ve been building a personal market analytics tool called New Eden Tycoon — a full suite for serious market players who want to actually understand their trading history and performance, not just stare at the in-game wallet.

I’ve been running upwards of 20,000 market orders, managing trillions of ISK, and doing this day in day out for several years. The in-game tools just don’t cut it at that scale — you need to know your real profit, your real costs, what’s selling, what needs restocking, and where all your assets are sitting across dozens of stations and structures. So I built my own.

What it does:

  • Wallet Transaction History — pulls your full character and corp wallet history via ESI, auto-synced every 4 hours so you never have to manually refresh
  • Weighted Average Cost (WAC) Profit — calculates your true profit per sell based on your actual buy history, not just sell price minus current Jita
  • Market Order Tracking — live view of all your active buy and sell orders across characters and corp
  • Asset Tracking — full inventory of your assets across stations and player structures, with location names resolved automatically
  • Stock Management — track what you need to restock based on your sales velocity
  • Build Cost Batches — log your manufacturing costs so profit calculations account for items you built rather than bought

Ignore the ship rentals for now another side project coming soon

This is what I use every single day to run my operation. Nothing like this existed for players operating at this scale, so I built it myself.

Still in active development — features are being added and refined regularly. Not everything is fully polished yet, but the core is solid and battle-tested.

More details to come as it develops.

Oh — and this is completely FREE. No ISK charged to use this tool.

New Eden Tycoon now has a live leaderboard where you can see how your trading stacks up against other capsuleers using the tool.

How it works:
The leaderboard ranks traders across three metrics — WAC Profit, Revenue, and Transaction Count. There’s an Overview tab that combines all three into a single weighted score (Profit 40% · Revenue 35% · Transactions 25%) using a percentile system, so it’s not just about who makes the most ISK — someone who dominates in volume and revenue can outrank a pure profit trader. The other tabs let you drill into each metric individually.

Monthly PLEX Contest:
Every month, the top three traders on the Overview ranking win real PLEX prizes:

:1st_place_medal: 1st Place — 500 PLEX
:2nd_place_medal: 2nd Place — 250 PLEX
:3rd_place_medal: 3rd Place — 100 PLEX

Prizes are awarded at the end of each month. July 2026 is the first contest month — get in early.

Privacy first:
The leaderboard is fully opt-in — you won’t appear unless you choose to. You can also enable Anonymous Mode, which hides your character name and portrait so you compete under “Anonymous Capsuleer.” Your stats still count, your ranking is real, you just stay hidden.

To opt in, head to the Leaderboard page while logged in and toggle your settings. One click and you’re in.

Completely FREE — no ISK, no subscription, no catch. Just show up and trade.

See you on the boards. o7

Does it include contracts?

no, not yet

True. Every serious trader uses their own spreadsheets. Wallet input will practically give you nothing in terms of understanding whether you’re even in profit.

But why do I need to give out my trade secrets to some 3rd party? I don’t have problems understanding what sells, where it sells, how often it sells, or how much I am in profit. Uploading my data to some 3rd party tool, will just give the owner of that 3rd party all my trade secrets. No way I’d ever do that.

New Features

Jul 12, 2026WAC exclusions — exclude individual buy transactions or entire locations from WAC calculations. On the Wallet Transactions page, click Exclude on any buy row to remove it from cost basis. Click any location name to exclude all buys at that location. WAC automatically recomputes in the background; just refresh to see updated profits.

Jul 12, 2026Price List Generator: Force buy order (override WAC) button — forces buy order prices to be used as cost basis even when WAC data exists. Separate from the existing fallback toggle which only fills in missing WAC.

Jul 12, 2026Multi-character trading — connect multiple ESI characters from the Account page. Market orders and wallet transactions pages show per-character filter buttons when more than one character is connected. Each character’s asset sync is fully isolated.

Jul 12, 2026Corp-only trading mode — toggle on the Account page to hide personal character orders and transactions site-wide, showing only corp wallet data. Useful if all trading runs through a corporation.

Jul 12, 2026WAC fallback pass — sells with no matching buy history now receive a WAC estimate based on all-time weighted average buy price for that item, so profit is shown even for items bought before transaction tracking began.

Jul 12, 2026Refresh All button added to the Trading Hub header — one click syncs wallet transactions, market orders, and hangar assets in sequence with a live per-step status indicator. No more navigating to three separate pages to refresh.

Jul 12, 2026Price List Generator: Use buy order price as WAC fallback toggle — when enabled, items with no sell history use your active buy order price as the cost basis for markup calculation. Shown in blue so you can tell it apart from real WAC. Automatically switches to real WAC once sell transactions come in.

Jul 12, 2026Restock Manager: Blocked and Ready to Post views — each location now has an orange Blocked (N) button and a green Ready to Post (N) button so you can instantly see which items are being held back by the competition filter and which are already stocked in your hangar waiting to be listed.

Jul 12, 2026Account Settings page added — toggle individual ESI scopes on or off (personal wallet, corp wallets, character orders, corp orders, assets, and more). Data from disabled scopes is hidden across all pages without deleting it. Accessible via the ‘Account’ link in the header.

Recent Fixes

Jul 12, 2026WAC 2-hour grace window — buys timestamped slightly after a sell (common in the ESI feed) are now included in WAC calculations instead of being silently dropped, fixing missing WAC on many sell transactions.

Jul 12, 2026Market orders multi-character isolation fix — syncing a second character no longer marks the first character’s orders as expired. Active order IDs are now accumulated across all characters before the expiry step runs.

Jul 12, 2026Restock results now persist across page refreshes — results load instantly from the last calculation instead of requiring a recalculate on every visit. The last calculated date and time is shown so you can decide when to refresh.

Jul 12, 2026Corp deliveries hangar now included in asset sync — items sitting in the Corp Deliveries container are included in hangar counts on the Assets page and Restock Manager.

Jul 12, 2026Corp hangar assets at NPC stations now correctly match restock locations — corp office items (type 27) use their own item ID as a location which differed from the station ID used by market orders. Now resolved through the office to the parent station/structure ID.

Jul 12, 2026Restock Manager: hangar asset source selector added — choose Personal, Corp, or Both when calculating your In Hangar quantities. Defaults to Personal if you don’t have corp asset scopes.

Jul 12, 2026Restock Manager: character hangar assets in player-owned structures (Fortizars, citadels) now sync correctly. ESI returns these with location_type=‘item’ which was being filtered out — fixed.

Jul 12, 2026Restock Manager: Have column split into On Market, In Hangar, and Total Qty so you can see exactly where your stock is without the tooltip.

Newest Updates:

Jul 26, 2026Jita WAC Fallback — enable in Account Settings to use the current lowest Jita 4-4 sell price as a cost basis for sells with no buy history. Profits estimated this way show in amber with a ‘Jita est.’ label on Wallet Transactions and the Price List Generator. A one-click Backfill Jita WAC button in Account Settings fills all 952 missing-WAC sells in one pass. Jita estimates are automatically replaced by real WAC the moment a matching buy is synced.

Jul 26, 2026Asset WAC Value — the Synced Assets page now shows total hangar value based on WAC cost, both as a grand total across all locations and per-location in each station card. Items with no WAC data are noted but excluded from the total.

Jul 25, 2026Broker Fees & Sales Tax tracking — a new Fees button on the Wallet Transactions page shows all broker fees and sales taxes pulled from the ESI wallet journal. Two new stat boxes (Sales Tax and Broker Fees) appear at the top and update with the date filter. Fees are synced automatically every 4 hours alongside transactions.

Jul 25, 2026Sell transaction exclusions — the Exclude button on the Wallet Transactions page now appears on sell rows as well as buy rows. Excluding a sell removes it from WAC profit totals and the missing-WAC count.

Newest additions to the site:

Aug 15, 2026Transfers — a new page recommends moving stock between overstocked and understocked trade hubs based on each location’s Restock Manager target. Three modes: Take From Assets (already in hangar, just haul), Buy All (buy back your own sell order when it’s still lowest-priced, at zero net cost), and Cancel & Repost (when undercut — cancel, ship what’s needed, repost the rest at the original price or current WAC price). Separate copy buttons for the Multibuy list, Quickbar cancel list, and both repost price lists.

Aug 15, 2026ISK Losses page — click the Total ISK Lost stat box on Wallet Transactions to open a dedicated losses page: Top 10 Losing Items with icons (click one to filter the list to just that item), losing transactions paginated one day at a time, and an Exclude/Include button on every row so known losses can be dropped from WAC without leaving the page.

Aug 15, 2026Wallet Transactions: added a Yesterday date filter, and the default view now loads a rolling last-30-days window instead of your full history for faster page loads. Use the Custom date picker to pull older transactions on demand.
