I’ve been dropping in and out of this game for several years, and unfortunately I have never fully managed to immerse myself despite many attempts.
However, I’ve made a quarantine pledge to myself to properly engage myself and join a small, newb-friendly corp. Ideally, I’d like to stick to Industry (mining and fleet ops), as I have two other alt accounts (3 total) with respectable (from my minuscule perspective at least) mining skills. I really like the whole player-driven market aspect to this game and it’s mainly what draws me back each time. My problem seems to be I can never gain a significant foothold in anything as have always stuck to solo play, and usually lose interest after such time.
I would still therefore consider myself a noob, with an understanding of most of the games basic mechanics. I would eventually like to learn PvP but understand this can be a gruesome and expensive process.
I have a fair few assets with regards to ships, but I’m happy to liquidate, leave it all behind and start again if a potential corp needs me to relocate. I have enough ISK for ships to get me started etc, really I’m looking more for direction and for a group of players with shared interests.
I’m based in the UK so operate within that timezone; I work full-time 5 days a week so can only commit to evenings and weekends, but am willing to put full throttle into any corp that might take me, and help in whatever way is needed.
Look forward to hearing from you!
