Id assume so you cant have a fleet interceptor inside, and run out of bubbles super easy

Iâm not sure either way on this. Tbf, I donât think it is a bad thing. Ok, you carry a frigate but letâs face it if you have a fight and you get your BS popped are you really going to have an assault as your backup? Not sure how likely that is rly so probably will just be mainly T1s with ecm/reps or such.
Additionally, I think it would be kind of cool to have it so when your Skiff pops you escape in⌠idk, a Venture? Miasmos-Mini? Bc why not? Also, when your frigate comes out maybe you could have yourself hidden by a GIANT FKN RED DOT OVER EVERYONEâS SCREEN FOR 15 SECS SO YOU CAN ESCAPE COS THAT SOUNDS GOOD TOO!!!
Sorry. Got a little carried away there. I really donât see the big problem with this, honestly. I mean, it is a huge ship after all so it would have the room and⌠I donât know. It hasnât even been tested yet so why donât we wait for the new-found scams to be found with this before we get all rage-explosion about it?
As a last point though:
You can. Honestly. Thatâs what that huge 400km3 Maintenance Bay is for. For carrying fitted ships. Just wanted to let you know

I know you can carry ships in your Orca, I meant in the context of this proposed update. When your Orca gets popped, you eject into an assault frigate or whateverâŚ
Nah that makes no sense man. Surely youâd eject into a Porp? They fit. Or a Skiff? I like Skiffs, theyâre beast.

Battleships to now offer 2 KMs to the group of cruisers and sabre that killed them under bubble. Thatâll make people use them more!
I could maybe see people using this in a fleet and ejecting in a logi frigate, but even then not really. A far more interesting solution would have been to allow the battleship to fit 2 sets of high/mid/low they could flip between on a cooldown and cap cost. This is something I kinda wanted to see on marauders regardless - being able to flip between 2 loadouts at will, but locked in while in bastion. It just always seemed like a cool way to give battleships more versatility without just giving them more slots. Possibly swapping all battleship bonuses to generic âmissile flight time, damage, etcâ rather than âbonus to large Xâ at the same time.

So, I am curious⌠how would this be a useful feature? I cannot think of any situations where I would think, âMy battleship is being primaried, but at least I have that frigate!â

I would like CCP to create the need to bring All Ship Sizes to a Fleet Fight.
As we see in real Naval Warfare. Specialized Ships.

Rather than making battleship-exclusive mechanic, Iâd prefer this mechanic being tied up to the maintenance bay as a whole, with battleships being the basic unit to have one.
Off course, there MUST some limitations. Namely, cloak/bubble immunity/warp core strength impedance, removing your ability to resist tacklers, run or hide say, for 5 minutes, with shorter warp impedance (Might slap a little bit of on-grid speed slow to the mix), to prevent this ship being simply one more layer to try and save the pod (I bet devs had a lot of things in mind for these, with oversized AB frigates not exactly being one).
This way people can enjoy more flexible altless setups, get introduction to refit shenanigans and get more consistency within the game at the same time.
you are flying a nestor in a fleet and your repping your buds. you then get poped and jump into a repair frig and keep on repping. ir you now can be a tackler frig, or a jammer, or loads of other things. the idea is interesting and for whs you could have a back up scanner frig ready to run when your bs gets poped. i like it, i wanna see what happens.
