You can’t eject into your frigate unless you lose the BS, thus you plan on losing the BS if you plan on using the frigate ejected from it. LOL.
So please do so if this is the playstyle that will give you most happiness, since that’s what playing EVE is all about. Now let’s continue this thread in the light of what new creative and enjoyable fun this can bring us, having acknowledged that some players like to interpret this as planning by forehand to loose and respecting their line of interpretational intelligence, Now please let’s continue to discuss what fun this can build us!!! (criticism is always the easiest option against anyone that actually makes something, but the one who makes something has actually much more balls, since that is much more difficult and on top of that you know a lot of easy escape reactions are going to shower you with negativity)
Then your gameplay in EVE must be very minor and insignificant.
There’s a ton of potential for this.
Imagine throwing shade at a change because you’re not creative enough to figure out uses for it.
Waste of dev time. But hey I guess its more useful than the red dot.
But can you remove frigate while docked?
Like I said, I look forward to you bringing your “creativity” our way and giving us 2 KM for the price of one.
Unbelievable … read your own sentence once again:
“First off, to use this, you are planning on losing the battleship.”
Which is bollocks. I am not going to explain again why.
You assume that devs sliced some time off other things to make this feature instead of reducing their slacking time.
Most of such small features devs come up with in their stall moments, when they tend to their little funny “pets”.
Ok, you got me there. I guess the new hauler meta will be to haul frigates with battleships. Very efficient and game altering.
If you want to increase content it should have support for an Inty! This would encourage more solo BS ops, which creates more targets. How did the Inty not make the list before any of these others? Baffling…
And those ships go boom along with your Orca. You don’t magically eject unharmed in a frigate…
You CANNOT use this unless you lose your battleship…
That’s just one use. You can also use this frigate as a cheap and good alternative to a capsule, to have better chances escaping with your precious implants.
"Should the Battleship be destroyed, instead of being ejected in your capsule and left helpless, you will launch immediately back into combat aboard your Frigate! "… straight from CCP…
Continuing and ignoring the permadepressed capsuleers trying to hijack this threat into their worlds of darkness and misery, THIS LOOKS REALLY COOL!!!
I think this change will get a much bigger impact when battleships will get their own place to shine: meaning lowsec will have only blackops and industrial cyno use enabled, turning lowsec into a subcap roaming paradise, with capitals in a more home-territory defensive role.
So… we have a way to transport 2 fully fitted ships at once without a freighter and people are complaining?
FFS, I KNOW!!!
That is not the point! You are not PLANNING to lose it in order to use the frigate. You can use the frigate WHEN or IF you lose the BS but you are not planning on losing it … … are you all ■■■■■■■ retarded here?
stop feeding the trolls please… you should know this by. now
A frigate always warps slower than a pod so in highsec and lowsec that doesn’t have bubbles the frigate lowers your chance of escape.
Even in null, if you are trapped in a bubble in a frig you are still trapped, plus it wont make your aggression timer go away. So you will just be tackled again, killed in your frig, and then podded anyway :). If you aren’t trapped in a bubble then you are still slower to warp than a pod so being in a pod would save your implants easier.
So, bay is magically locked when you put the ship in it?
I doubt they will have launch ship function removed from that bay, the one we already have for maintenance bays.
I won’t be surprised if number one use for these will be carrying spares for tacklers. They tend to blow up, you know.
