New Plex Sink Idea

I’m thinking more along the lines of “how do we render this on the clients without exploding things”. I have to imagine the models and the gfx engine are all built around statically defined this and that. To throw in procedural/dynamic drawing of models without exploding the clients would be a major rewrite.

Implementing it isn’t the problem as that would just be an additional masked layer on-top of the unwrap I think, the problem is all the lag it would create having 1000’s of different texture’s that the client’s need to download when a player enter’s system and the other player’s haven’t downloaded that texture yet, and some players are having issues with upgrading to 64bit eve which is only 8gig ram imagine now needing even more ram to store all those decals xD.
