I agree it’s not a bomb run.
For one, they wrongly assumed the new ships have no targeting delay like bombers.
You cannot hit and run like that in these new ships, anyone with tackle will be able to hold you down even before you manage to fire your weapon.
They don’t care. The ships has enough mids to survive, and the web resist makes it sure BS can’t hit it close - even BC made for long range can’t.
They are not bombers. The comparison with bombers makes no sense.
You pretending that they are worse than bomber for reason X or else is a plain troll.

It’s good to make true solo pvp dangerous and very difficult.
It’s also good to make fleets want to consider logi pilots as a necessity.

A correct argument would have been an off topic one, that is for whom making “true solo pvp dangerous and very difficult” really is good.
This would have led to the conclusion that what is good for one is bad for the other, and as such this blanket statement was a farce to start with.
But since you know it’s wrong before you even start the off-topic, you rather go with personal attacks and defamation, unable to acknowledge the absurd of those claims, and of your opinion in general.

I’ll be waiting a while too for the skillbook prices to come down.
Not sure if I’ll get the battlecruiser or destroyer first. I do like the look of that destroyer and it’s probably going to be a third or fourth of the price of the battlecruiser.
Well, I can afford to buy, inject and fit a ship (I guess pods are also affordable) but for what ?
I don’t think it makes any sense to test them until the market price reaches a more decent bracket.
Like, 50% spread at most.
And besides the pod, the ship is only good at brawling close after a cloaky warp. Sure it will murder BC+ (by the sheer amount of spread DoT) but that will only make those fleet need more speed, and more projection, or more bubbles, and dedicated defensive scrams to avoid being caught.
In PVE, it’s worse and more expensive than a T3C so … welp.
Close range brawling is what most covops ships do though, so that’s not new.
You find a target, get close enough for tackle, decloak, tackle and start fighting.
Sometimes it’s fun to do so from range, I’ve done that too, but with the lack of tackle at range you’re going to rely on other tricks to engage in a cloaky ship at range, like one-shotting them or shooting enemies pinned by cynos, rats, allies or likewise.
An alternative to warping in cloaked is to drop on them with a covert jump drive. Also a fun pasttime I enjoy.
I can see uses for these ships for my gameplay, just not at it’s current price yet.
I did notice the potential of passive tank on the battlecruiser is massive, haven’t looked at active tank yet, but in that role it may outperform T3Cs.
I just wonder how well it’s unique SCARAB weapon will perform in PvE and if the other weapons are enough to make up for the SCARAB’s limitations compared to a T3C in PvE.
