Yes, but ganking is very easy to avoid and isnāt a problem, so we must remove it in order to prevent players from leaving the game after being catastrophically affected by it because there was nothing they could do to stop it.

Iām American, so I apologize for not being 100% on the meaning of that phrase. I assume it means:
Iām willing to step back, take a fresh look at the bigger picture, and reconsider how I approach the subject. I would much rather make friends than enemies. I donāt see my overall opinion changing in regards to the mechanics to ganking, but I will try harder to show respect for other peopleās opinions.
Just a side note, kudos for your W/L ratio on zKillz of 1,269/18. Very impressive. 
Hereās the fundamental issue: itās not a matter of respecting other peopleās opinions (youāre not obligated to do that), but that youāre not playing the right game. In an open-world, full-loot PvP game, debates should focus on the mechanics behind the PvP, and not whether the open-world, full-loot PvP should exist at all. Itās like coming into a bar and getting into an argument with the other patrons about whether or not drinking alcohol should be allowed by law.
Of course you can do this anyway; you have the right to voice your opinions about nearly anything. But why would you? Why not just go and join the community of a game in a genre thatās in line with your desires? If youāre a decent human being, thereās really no need to ā ā ā ā up the community of a game that was never meant to be enjoyable for you.

No, I didnāt tell you to quit the game. Iām simply questioning your decision to play it in the first place.
Look, Iām not into FIFA. Do I go on the FIFA forums and ask them to add a battle soccer mode, or let me have a team full of anime girls? I donāt, right? I go play some some Blood Bowl while a season of Fate is running on the TV in the background. You know, like a normal person.
So why go on the forums of an open-world PvP game and ask for the open-world PvP to be removed? Just go and play one of the countless games where what you consider to be āgriefingā isnāt one of the primary features.
