The vast majority of bounties go unclaimed, most people simply canât be bothered or donât know enough about the mechanics involved with collecting them.
The majority of those people who can be bothered and/or know enough about the relevant mechanics, theyâre generally the same people that would end up having them placed on them; crime being somewhat more profitable than hunting criminals for their bounties.
Its been confirmed somewhere that with the advent of alphas, that security bypass isnt enforced as much of at all. Its been several years so i dont recall where it was mentioned
Yeah, itâs somewhat of a pointless exercise with alpha accounts. Iâve known a few people get contacted for doing it since their introduction, they were all clearing a slot on long established accounts for character transfers so it was fine.

Bribing isnât the same as rewarding. Gankers have the reward of loot, AG currently has no reward. This is an obvious imbalance. Imagine having an NPC Bounty on a criminal like:
