Let us export the map’s “Systems I’ve Visited” data, please!
Someone just told me about the “Systems I’ve Visited” map filter, and it bloody ROCKS.
I’ve been wandering around looking at my own history. Found a system I last visited on October 5th, 2007. Nearly nineteen years ago. Two visits, fifty-one jumps from where I am now, and suddenly I’m wondering what the hell I was doing out there.
Naturally, that turned into hunting for my most-visited system. Jita? 173 visits. Perimeter? 259, which makes sense with it being the pipe. Amarr seemed like a good candidate at 309… but Khopa is currently winning with 423. Apparently I really liked Khopa. lol.
After nearly 20 years in New Eden there’s a lot of personal history sitting in that map, and I’d love to be able to do more with it.
The suggestion
Could we get an Export Travel History button on the map screen? CSV or JSON would be great, containing:

| Region Name | Its region |
| System Security Status | The system’s security rating |
| Number of Visits | Total recorded visits |
| Date of Last Visit | Most recent recorded visit |
| Date of First Visit | Earliest recorded visit, if available |
System IDs and Region IDs would also be useful for matching records in third-party applications.
Let us revisit our history
If individual visit records still exist, an optional export with a system and timestamp for each visit would be AMAZING.
Being able to filter by year and see where I was flying in 2007 versus 2017 would turn this into a proper scrapbook of my time in EVE. A year filter directly on the map would be lovely too.
If that history isn’t retained, even a first-visit date alongside the existing count and last-visit date would be welcome. Obviously, I’m not asking Fenris Creations to magically reconstruct records that no longer exist.
Third-party applications
I’m a developer myself, working on EVE Quartermaster, and I’d love to use an export like this for:
- Personal travel maps showing where a character has been.
- Timelines of old homes, deployments, and wandering.
- Exploration checklists for systems still waiting for a visit.
- Sortable statistics, so we don’t have to hunt around the entire map looking for our busiest system.
- Personal archives of years—or decades—spent in New Eden.
A manual export would already be useful. Select the filter, click Export, and take your own character’s travel history with you.
After nearly two decades, some of those little dots mean old homes, old friends, fleet fights, mining trips, or getting spectacularly lost. I want to poke through those memories.
