I think the main issue is, if you pay for something via a Corp-Wallet, the game cannot decide to deliver it to a personal hangar. It stays a “corporaiton asset”. And then someone with the rights to manage corporation assets has to give it to whoever should use it (if that one has no own access to the deliveries for example).
So, from their Point of View, the mechanic does make sense. The sad thing is, that the GM wasn’t able to simply tell you what to do.
