Corp plex buy order changes

Up until very recently I’ve placed buy orders for plex through my alt corps wallet rather than an individual character’s wallet. Part of my last order was fulfilled at a null sec upwell structure which I’ve no access to.

Unfortunately, there is no way to get the plex out of said structure unless granted docking access or the plex goes into asset safety. I’ve checked if this is a bug and it isn’t, this is working as intended.

Since the move to the global plex market it’s no longer possible to restrict the location of a plex buy order to prevent this. There is also nothing to warn you that you may lose your plex. I’d like to suggest some changes to prevent this or at least give fair warning.

  1. Make it so plex can be moved to the plex vault even if you don’t have docking rights

  2. Or, make it so orders can be restricted to npc stations

  3. At the very least put a warning up on corp buy orders to say that the plex may go somewhere you can’t recover it from

Can’t you contract yourself the PLEX? It should go into your personal wallet.

I now feel like a fool for not trying that. When the move to plex vault option didn’t work I contacted support who said docking access or safety was the only way to get at it. I gave up at that point and put it in safety :person_facepalming:

Don’t worry, it’s bad design and even worse when they don’t tell their own GMs how to fix it.
