Depends on how high you want it, but yes, eve’s mechanics allow to just trade in pirate tags to npcs at stations to clean SS.

one of the rules is you must have a positive sec status to even sell your toon, or has that changed? I was once held up getting a toon over this reason. that is why i am asking. Also what would you take at this point as a good offer?
