I.E If a system is linked and sent in fleet chat, being able to set destination from the link within that message via the Radial Menu would be very convenient.

Not a bad idea.
But the radial menus are all based on context and have many buttons for that context, like we can see in the existing radial menus:
What other options would there be for a chat-based radial menu?
An entire new radial menu just for a button for one niche use case seems a bit much.

I don’t quite follow. There is a Radial Menu that functions with linked locations already. Why would it need to be different ?
