Rattlesnake alpha fit

I will use rattlesnake but I dont have fit. I rat in drone regions(em-thermal damage). And im alpha. Please help me :slight_smile:

There are other threads that are for complaining if you have a problem with alphas piloting snakes. Unless you mean he shouldn’t because its too valuable, in which case you could say that.

OP: Sorry I don’t have a fit set up for alphas :frowning:

I often consult Osmium at https://o.smium.org/ for fits that others are using when setting up my own. However, when I checked as I wrote this, it was down. Try it sometime.

Both fits are not capstable but you don’t really need it, both will cost you about 800mil. Fit with rapid launchers has better dps, and application but only at 65.7km and it chugs missiles like no tomorrow. You can fit dronelink on fit with cruise missiles with 1% cpu implant.

I will rat in null, drone regions Oasa-Perrigen Falls-The spire. If heavy is better, then I will use it but range is important too, I think.

Most rattlesnake fits are designed for long range sniping using a Micro Jump Drive to pull range; then sentry drones and cruise missiles to kill the rats as they burn toward you.

This concept doesn’t work for Alphas because you can’t fit the MJD or use sentry drones. In fact, any cruise missile fit will largely be wasting the drone bonus. You can fit a Rattlesnake for closer range with heavy drones (or a Gecko) and rapid heavy or torpedo launchers but there may be hulls that work better with Alpha skill limitations.
