Re: Censorship or moderation?

In my opinion, the facts that Copper Rei posted here Censorship or moderation? are valid, did not break any rules, unless you abuse the rule “discussion of moderation” in a fascistic way (like: dont you backtalk to me you little… paying customer).
So I gonna repeat what he said here a bit shorter:
Step 1: unnecessary project leading to incompetent decisions
Step 2: asking for feedback, purely hypocritical
Step 2: ignore the feedback, of course
Thats CCP way of doing things, in my opinion as a long time player.
Personally I worked around a lot of bad changes and addons in the past, but this time… Photon UI is annihilating my delight and my will to play, I’m afraid.

2. Specifically restricted content.

EVE Online holds ESRB Teen and PEGI 12 ratings. All content posted to the EVE Online forums must be teen rated.

In addition to this, the EVE Online forums are not for discussion of real life current affairs, news, politics or religion. Discussion should revolve around EVE Online and its community.

For these reasons, specific content is prohibited on the EVE Online forums. These are:

  • Pornography
  • Profanity
  • Real Money Trading (RMT)
  • Discussion of Warnings & Bans
  • Discussion of Moderation
  • Private communications with CCP
  • In-Game Bugs & Exploits
  • Real World Religion
  • Real World Politics
  • Content that distorts the forum layout

I have no issue with adding your feedback to the discourse. Calling ISD fascists isn’t a good way to add to the discussion though. Feel free to post it again without breaking the rules. Thank you.
