I received an expired HS winter-Storm filament today, not sure when, but It was saying “Expired…” and “it expires in 179 days…”! Not sure if it’s a bug or what…

Bug, should get fixed tomorrow. Ccp does it every year
Maybe CCP is recycling old un-used Filaments… 
But seriously though, that’s definitely poor programming… CCP needs to share the wealth and start hiring competent programmers as well as a Quality Assurance Team…

Life not easy for Alpha players already enough…
It is hard for Omega, I switched into my Alpha clone and it’s near impossible to get
anything done… If I could pull a data hack from a filament that would be supercool for Aplha players…
A lonely Expired Filament isn’t going to change my life as an Omega player anyway…
Something accessible to all including for Alpha players to try some hacking would be nice… no Ice for them but Hacking could be done… maybe I just have to try a little harder… I spent 50 Mil to fit a Navy Heron I could buy one or two Data Crypto Storm filaments with the remaining 3-4 I have in my Alt account…

I have now hundreds of Expired Ice-Storm filaments in my cargo…
I didn’t use them last time probably, and thought I could use them with the new Event…
They are all expired… and none of them has an expiry date written ANYWHERE…
It would be nice if CCP would be willing to buy these Expired filaments back…
or if there was a way to “renew” the filaments certificate…
I mean… they are IDENTICAL to new ones…
I don’t know if the Expired filament BUG extended to ALL Ice-Storm-filaments in my
inventory or what… but one thing for sure…
I don’t know what to do with these…
They weren’t supposed to expire…
I used them a lot to trave to a safe spot when exploring too deep …
so I have many fits with these filaments inside I now have to go through all of them to see which are still OK and which instead “expired”… when they should never have…

I also didn’t know that filaments expired. Or even boosters for that matter, still learning. Found a 4yr old post about someone also complaining they expire: Reddit - The heart of the internet
So, can I safely discard of all filaments that say “Expired”?
