Expired Azdaja Redoubt filament from fresh BPO?

I had a couple of Azdaja BPO in a hangar, I checked what they were, if I could do something with it..

and the outcome is an outdated filament???

Is it normal??? Shouldn’t the BPO expire as well if this is the case???

What’s the point of keeping BPO’s that produces “Expired” filaments…

How is this even possible???

Yes, it is basically the same filament like before, it is just marked as “Expired” because you can’t use it any more, since the event that they were a part of is over. Call it space magic, call it physical parameters of the target systems being changed… you simply can’t travel with them any more. Because the environment changed.

No. The production process is still the same. Why should it not work any more? Bring the materials, bring the plan, get a Filament.

Some people keep them as collector’s items. They are from an event that might never come back and if you store them 20 years and are the only one that offers one at some point, you might get billions for it. Even if they are totally useless. For a collector that still seeks one, usefulness doesn’t really matter.

Ah Ok… I created a Stealth paint thread with expiration dates…

I was brainstorming on the practicality of adding expiration date to a number of indefinite items to keep track of, if it would be worth the cake or not…

Seems to be a similar solution to the problem… just let it go…

But to Cloack painted modules if the paint worn off… it must be repainted…
