I played some 12 years ago. Like many quit.

I have been back for 3 months and paid for Omega.

New Crimson missions. All I have is a Navy Vexor. I can only get into T3 missions. Which kills all my Hammer Head II’s and Goblin II.

Then someone in my clan says yea. They don’t like Drones in this activities.

What a great game. Lose 15 million to win 1.6 million. And almost die but lukely I have 2 armor repairs to spend 10 min sailing away to warp away cause after drones I have nothing offensive.

Great concept devs.

Be a better Drone parent, or just use a Gila/Gator.

Different content requires different ships and skills. Been so since the start of this game.

You can double rep with a vexer, have the vexor take the yellow/red boxing. certain npc ships target drones so yes if you dont focus on those first your drones will be culled, raiders are one group, and theres another, either way make sure your ship(vexor) is being primaried before you release your hounds on them.

as for the losers who troll these forums call them what they are useless trolls with nothing to offer.

OP is talking about the new event sites. The sites will switch targets to drones even if you wait for them to red box you.

When I can’t use the same exact strategy in the same exact ship to complete every form of content, it means the game is bad. :frowning:

All I have is a Vexor. And I don’t have the money for the Gila yet. Just got my first Mackinaw. But, yes, thank you for the direction.

When I can’t read a story line and make sense of it, I post ignorant stuff.

Whining about how you’re only capable of flying one ship that isn’t ideal for the content you’re trying to complete is not much of a plot.

There are no significant barriers to just flying something else.

You are what happens in a forum, when very little to no thought, other than disdain is replied with. And then the ‘whinning’ and ‘crying’ get thrown in because, can’t back up, read the post, and answer without ignorance.

I’m new.
I don’t have much ISK.
I ONLY have the Vexor.
And through bad first time experience. I learned to lose a lot and gain virtually nothing.
Which to me is kind of a bad setting created not by me but by the devs.

You’ll get better. This is not a sprint. Progression means a lot in this game. Progress your skills further along with isk and you can get better ships. Your current situation isn’t the devs fault

Buddy, if there has been any point in this thread where you’ve said something that doesn’t fall under the general heading of “whining” and “crying” then feel free to point it out.

Get more ISK.

Go to your local market hub and buy something else, or just beg a hull off of a corpmate. Tell me what cruisers you can fly and I’ll contract you one right now and then you’ll no longer be suffering under the crippling condition of only owning a Vexor.

These are both trivial problems that you could just go solve for yourself instead of posting what you imagine are very involved and nuanced forum threads.

So, what do you want? I’ll send you a Gila but it’s just going to have the same “NPCs shoot muh drones” problem. You can definitely at least sit in an Exeq Navy, got any hybrid skills?

What about a Gnosis? Everyone can fly that.

There’s a bunch of low hanging fruit starter missions OP can do to get a bunch of free ships, and even if he wants none of “those” ships, they can all be sold on the market for the funds to buy a hull.

Level 3s you can do in a Kestrel. Get one of those and equip heavy assault missiles. Practically foolproof.
