After today’s update we are seeing an increase in client crashes. Most likely this is associated with shadow quality. If you have encountered these crashes since downtime, we recommend setting the “Shadow Quality” to disabled. This setting can be found by pressing Esc to access the in-game menu, under Display & Graphics.
Edit: If players loose any ships due to this issue, they should contact support to discuss the possibility of a reimbursement.
20:11 Update by CCP Arcade :
We have deployed an update which should resolve this issue. Players will need to close their clients and restart the launcher. That will prompt the launcher to download the update.

Our client crashed, and when we tried to reconnect, it crashed again and again.
This was the error code:
2024-02-29 12:53:05.791 app error: [client-manager] ‘tranquility’ EVE game client for ‘xxxx’ exited with an error code. Exit code: -1073741819
Many of our pilots are saying they will quit the game.

It’s not about ghost titans. It has been the stated policy since earliest days of eve. Fights are not reverted. What happens happens. Sometimes you get lucky and enemy get’s screwed over by servers, sometimes you end up on the receiving end. It happens and this is one of the best policies that CCP has come out with and sticks with (and we have been on the receiving end of it many many times).
More over everyone sane agrees with this policy. Otherwise you could revert every fight by crying about lag or ping or whatever else you can come up with. It would make the game completely pointless because you could recover from every loss by crying on the forums.
WH dwellers deserve to be treated like anyone else regardless what you think about it…end of story…and now quit this ‘you are rich enough so you don’t need to be reimbursed’ nonsense.
