Oh dear. With this Christmas’ event, you have broken the Access button for the ice storm processor. It now does not work to bring your miner within access range, just opens the dialogue box kilometres away. One has to manually close the range.
Always worked in previous years, quality programming this year…

No, just try not to break it in the first place. Or, you know, get someone to actually test it before release…
Closer to 3 hours, and yes the event was literally unplayable. But that’s besides the point, which you’re intentionally missing: it’s not about how fast they fixed it, it shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. It’s an event they’ve ran before, on infrastructure they’ve used for many other events.
Nobody said it’s the end of the world, or a matter of cancelling subscriptions. Just disappointed in lack of quality control, and as people that want the best for this game it’s only normal to call it out. That’s what I meant when I wrote (if you bothered reading): it’s a matter of optics.

Okay this event kinda sucks like really bad, done about 40+ jumps to multiple systems where there’s storms and no event storm spawned, the closest one being 2 regions away is a literal joke…

Where to start ?
Can’t use a Marauder in combat sites as you cannot access the entry container to place a Clarifier inside it.
You are able to place a Clarifier into the container if you are in a Navy Battleship, but the reward for completing the site is the same or worse than not using one of the hard earned Clarifiers.
Placing a descrambling item into a Explo. sites container, does not enable the hacking of the scrambelled unit.
The rewards from either the Combat sites in High Sec or the exploration sites in high sec are frankly not worth bothering with for the time it takes to do them.
This is CCPs main event of the year and it is frankly rubbish.
The implementation and level of competence shown in an event that is run every year, is quite astonishing. NO testing appears to have been done at all!
Its a huge disappointment to players who have looked forward to the event, and for whatever the amount of work put into it by CCP, its barely worth bothering with, as the rewards are so minimal.
IM just disgusted by CCPs implementation of what has been previously a fine and enjoyable event.
