@Dyver_Phycad I agree with you to some extent. Chat was rightfully moved out from the game, just like any dev never puts the log in sync with the code.
That said, itâs uncanny how the chat always manages to force a server restart⌠Seems like bad programming to say the best.
Now, your level of anger with the issue is unjustified. You seem to be expecting something from CCP, they are the server owner, if they want to keep making a fool of themselves, so be it.
So the only conclusion here is: CALM DOWN MINER!

You guys keep jumping in and posting stuff without context⌠Calm down, then write down calmly what happened.
Just part of server crashed, youâre in place what is online. 1/3 people is in crashed zone.
Grateful that the service I paid the highest dollar for wasnât working correctly and they rebooted the server with less than 5 minutes warning. Where I come from they have legal obligations to provide compensation for any interruption in service.
No dude, you paid top dollar, so they can commit the same mistake they did 4-5y ago.

Did you try updating your built in intel gpu drivers to take advantage of the new pipelining to take load off the CPU?
