I am returning to eve after a few month break and honestly forgot mostly everything. I’m wanting to live in null sec and would like to learn how to PvP more then being the bait but actually how to hold my own in a dog fight. I am able to fly carriers and supper carriers and remember i really enjoyed it but i was in space that was so safe other then hitting self destruct nothing could kill me. but would love to learn more about them and get more accustomed to flying them. I am USTZ and am looking for one that i can help out in. I like to be useful in corps and helping where i can. Like to be a member not a number. I dont mind the corp having rules but i also dont want one that makes me feel like if i dont fill out a document and get it approved i cant leave the station. On the flip side i also want to be able to leavd the station and not feel like im going to get shot down the second i leave. I have a mic and willing to talk but dont be annoyed or mad if i ask alot of questions because i would rather ask instead of die but i do realize that is part of the game and it will happen.

I was drawn to your OP because you said you want to “be a member, not a number”. In my corp, one of our core values is not having line members – if we’re doing our job right, you’ll be empowered to push initiatives and make things happen, and given all the tools to do so. Questions, too, are encouraged and desirable, we’re all about constant learning and improvement!
I’m not sure whether Katothen or Lunar Legion would be a better fit for you, but you’d definitely find a good home in Total Eclipse. We do a good amount of subcap PvP in anything from small gang roams to whaling fleets to set-piece battles in our ongoing war against the Rekking Crew. We’re about 65% US so you’d fit in well with our main timezone as well.
As for regulations, we have the standard nullsec stuff (background check) but I’m pretty sure the only document you have to fill in is the application form, and that’s just to help us get to know you (and the replies are to help you get to know us). I, for one, am far more likely to get on your tail if you’re ship spinning than if you’re undocking – we’ll always take a fight if it’s engageable.
You may well die quite a bit learning, but we do a lot of stuff with cheaper ships and we have a bit of reimbursement to help cushion your ship losses (if you want Goon-tier SRP, unfortunately we don’t have that – our space isn’t that safe but it’s a lot more fun).

We’re a social corp first and foremost, and if it’s your thing we play a ton of other games together in addition to Eve. Stuff like Minecraft, multiple MMOs, super active Discord, the works… If you’re looking to have a good social experience I can promise there’s no other corp that will do it as well as we do.
When it comes to in-game content, we’re a founding member of a brand new alliance, Freight Train Diplomacy, and we just took about 6 systems up in Vale of the Silent. It’s prime space for ratting, pvp, and 1j Jita in a JF. Paradise in null tbh. No mandated ops, though encouraged to participate as much as possible. We have content that ranges from gate camps and small gang, to sov warfare and super/titan drops. You can do it all with us, and we encourage it.
Our directors are made of people who are experienced from all aspects of the game. Personally, i have been playing since 2010 and have dabbled with every aspect (Short of supers). The biggest thing i noticed is you want to belong to something… to help build something… while learning Pvp… AR is the Home you seek… we are small but active… and because we are new you are able to help new memebrs that come in with Missions, Ratting, etc… as much as you want… Members of Ar are apart of the AR Team… that is attmepting to have fun while changing Eve anyway we can…
