Returning Player – 30M SP – Legion / Curse – Looking for Corporation

Corporations & Alliances Recruitment Center

Hello everyone,

After nearly 22 years away from New Eden, I’m back in EVE Online, more motivated than ever to get involved and build something long-term.

I first experienced EVE during its early days, but eventually had to step away for real-life reasons. At the time, I was also spending more of my time in other universes, particularly Star Wars Galaxies and EverQuest.

Coming back now feels like discovering a whole new game. I’ve spent quite some time catching up through videos, guides, forum discussions and articles to understand how EVE has evolved over the years and get familiar with its current mechanics.

I’m not looking to spend my time playing solo. My goal is to join an active Nullsec or WH corporation within an alliance, take part in its day-to-day activities and develop my PvP skills as part of a team.

My Character

  • Skill Points: Approximately 30 million SP.
  • Main Ship: Legion T3 Strategic Cruiser, currently my primary training focus.
  • Next Specialization: Curse - I’m very close to being able to fly one.
  • Covert Cyno: I have the skills required to operate a Covert Cynosural Field.
  • Doctrines: I’m willing to train into the corporation’s and alliance’s doctrines as needed.

I’m currently using my Legion for the Crimson event, but my longer-term goal is to put it to good use in a Nullsec environment, particularly for PvP and operations where its capabilities can be fully utilized.

The Curse is my next planned step, allowing me to broaden my options and become more flexible when it comes to fleet requirements.

I know I have a lot to relearn after such a long absence, and I prefer to be upfront about that. I’m not going to pretend I know every aspect of the current game, but I’m motivated, self-sufficient and eager to learn from experienced players.

What I’m Looking For

I’m primarily looking for a Nullsec corporation within an established alliance, with regular PvP activity, an active community and a genuine team-oriented environment.

I want to take part in fleet operations, explore different forms of PvP and contribute to the corporation rather than simply exist on its member list.

I’m particularly interested in developing my Legion and Curse capabilities in a real Nullsec environment, while remaining flexible and willing to train for the doctrines and roles the corporation needs.

I’m not just looking for somewhere to park my ships. I want to find a group I can integrate into, learn from, contribute to and grow with over the long term.

Playstyle and Availability

I’m financially self-sufficient and am not looking for a corporation to fund my activities.

I prefer playing a single character and have no plans to multibox. I may eventually develop three characters on the same account, but my priority is to actively play my main character and participate in group activities.

Time zone: UTC+2 / European time zone.

A Few Final Words

After all these years, I’m glad to be back in New Eden. Now, I’m looking to take the next step and find a Nullsec corporation that matches my goals and offers an environment where I can become an active and reliable member.

If your corporation is looking for a motivated, self-sufficient player who understands there is still plenty to learn and is willing to commit for the long term, I’d be happy to have a conversation.

Feel free to contact me in-game or leave a message here with some information about your corporation, your activities and what you expect from your members.

Looking forward to meeting you out in New Eden!

UPDATE

Honestly, that’s a fair point! I was initially focused on Nullsec, but the more I think about it, the more wormhole space sounds like something I’d enjoy.

Wormageddon looks particularly interesting, especially with the Legion, covert gameplay and small-gang PvP. I’m definitely going to take a closer look at them.

I’m returning after a very long break, so I still have a lot to learn about the current state of the game, but I’m motivated to get involved, improve and find a group to fly with long-term.

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. I appreciate it!

Hi! I’m with Blackwall Fortress, a null sec sov corp in Brave collective. A lot of us are also returning players in one form or another. We’ve got a lot of people on in your timezone and we all have a great time while respecting that RL comes first.

We have lots of daily PVP opportunities from member led, to corp level, all the way up to large alliance battles. So plenty of opportunities to get involved.

One of our key differentiators from other large null sec corps is that we don’t have fleet participation quotas. It’s your time so you should play how you want.

Wormholes can wait. One character on European evenings gets fleet PvP in faction warfare the hour you log in, with the ISK in the same session and no chain to scan. discord.gg/minmatar
