Similar in some ways, I was gone for 7 years came back and had to work my way out of Ichoriya in Pochven. Looking to fit in somewhere, I’m highly skilled mostly in combat pilot skills ~210000000 skill points, all sub capital, all factions, back in the day if you went into a capital ship you stayed there till it was popped, so I never wanted that. I’ve lived in Hisec doing small gang roams in losec, and I’ve lived in Nullsec never in a worm hole. My money comes from Abyssals, lvl 4 missions, and Defensive complex’s lately and moving towards Hi sec incursions. All that is limited by wardecs so while I would love to be in a corp, I have to be free to take time off to make ISK when I need it if there is a war happening. Interested in the upcoming factional war content though I don’t need a constant income, I’m pretty comfortable right now. They are throwing ISK at you now at least compared to how it used to be.

A lot of us are longtime players and returning vets who came back to a very different EVE than the one we left. Your background in small gang PvP, multiple regions of space, and broad combat experience would fit in extremely well with the direction we’re building toward.
And honestly, your mindset about wardecs and needing flexibility makes complete sense. Real life and personal ISK-making always come first with us. We’re not trying to turn EVE into a second job or demand nonstop participation from people.
