As the title states… I have been contemplating coming back to the game on and off for a few months now. And I have decided to bite the bullet, sign up for Omega and jump back in.
Upon logging back in I have now seen that Pandemic Horde has disbanded or something… Have not caught up on that whole thing yet…
I would like to get involved with low, null or wormholes… But before I do that I really need to get caught up on simply playing the game again.
I am looking for a new ‘oldbro’ friendly corp that will put up with some basic questions. I cannot play every night due to work, but have lots of time to play when off. (I work a rotating roster 3 days working, 4 days off and vice versa) so on my days off I have a lot of time!
I want to get better at PvP but don’t really want that as a primary function. So for now I would prefer something more PvE centric with the occasional PvP seeking shenanigans.
Hey Kapernic — welcome back to the space addiction!
First off, congrats on biting the bullet and re-subbing. Brave move. Braver than undocking a Venture in Tama, honestly.
Pandemic Horde exploding? Yeah… New Eden lore has gotten spicy lately. Don’t worry, you didn’t miss anything you can’t laugh about later.
If you’re looking for an oldbro-friendly corp that won’t panic when you ask, “Uh… how do I turn my safety back on?” then TUSK Corporation might be your jam. We specialize in:
PvE
Occasional PvP shenanigans
Answering basic questions without judging
Pretending we know what we’re doing
We also deeply respect your rotating schedule. Three days on, four days off? Perfect. You’ll fit right in with the rest of us who play whenever life allows and then mysteriously disappear during work, sleep, or snack-related emergencies.
If you want to relearn the game, shoot stuff, explore, or just hang out with people who also forget how modules work sometimes — come say hi.
Set Phasers to Malky could be a good fit for you!. We’re a pirate corp focused on lowsec, with plenty of roaming, faction warfare, and alliance fleets where new (and returning!) players can learn and grow. We also offer mentorship to help you get comfortable with skills and doctrines.
Our alliance, The Obsidian Front, runs regular fleets and strategic ops with experienced FCs. The environment is relaxed and low-pressure, with a friendly group that values teamwork over ego. Plus, there’s PvE and industry opportunities if you want to mix things up.
If that sounds like what you’re after, feel free to reach out.
