Bubble immunity and faster warp speed. If you run 1-2 cans per site (or none if whole site is bad) this more than makes up for worse performance in the signature.

I didn’t try the fit myself, but I suppose he probably had implants. I would use scanning implants anyway when flying an exploceptor.
