Skill Point Bundle 2 for 1 offer not working

I decided to get tempted by the 2 for 1 offer on the Master Skill point Bundle and went ahead and bought it. However, despite my invoice showing a 2 for 1 purchase only 1 bundle has appeared to redeem in game with no option anywhere to claim a second bundle in game, or purchase via the store.

few people have suggested posting here as support may be slow.

It wasn’t clear to me from the offer what the “bonus” was. Usually they indicate what the standard package offered, had this stricken out and then the revised bonus offer beside it.

I took it as 2 for 1, buy one pack get 2, failing that get the next cheapest pack for free. But there is no option to add a second pack to the cart when buying so I assumed it would be honour post purchase. But it is as if there is no deal applied, certainly not 2 for 1.

It’s definitely not clear what the old offer was and what you’re getting with the new offer, or what the savings is exactly. The 2:1 extractor offer was much clearer. These offers are obviously put together well in-advance. It’s too bad CCP bungles these on a regular basis - it’s probably costing them a lot of missed sales.

|I am sure they will sort it, hopefully soon. I hate issues with transactions involving cash far far more than in game issues.

Same for me, I was under the impression from the ad that if you bought one of the listed pack you would get a second one. Is there any information on when the second pack should show up in the redeeming system?

so a friend told me they have actually advertised it wrong. Apparently they have just doubled the points you get in the pack, so what you have is the deal. So unless you were aware of the previous contents within the pack you would have know way of knowing you wont get more.
The below link clearly says two packs for the price of one, you click it and it takes you to the packs to buy and does not present any furth info aside from saying two for one.

I think this is either really badly thought out, or predatory marketing.

I’m leaning towards really badly thought out, as past 2:1 offers had the previous offer displayed but stricken out (so it was clear what you were receiving).

Thanks for the info. I also thought i would receive 2 packs.. i was going to put a ticket in but at least i wont have that hassle now.

Afaik they call it 2 for 1 because it has about twice the stuff the pack normally has. But its obviously meant to trick people?

It is really misleading. I bought it thinking I would get 2 packs for the price of one, that pack is listed as having 3.5M SP. I expected 7m SP in total. They really needed to list the default contents to clarify to people what they are buying. Hard to confrim or really speculate if it is deliberate or not.

Same exact issue. Got the graduate bundle expecting 3m SP and 8 boosters. With the conversion to CAD, that hit hard for what I got.

if you go to
Markee Dragon Game Codes - EVE Online
it gives you the content for the bundles of last year with the amount in it. If you do the math the 2:1 bundle is already applied to what CCP is advertising

Yeah, Ive said that earlier, the point is the way it is advertised currently that is not clear. You shouldn’t have to go and do some research, or have prior knowledge of a previous sale/price history to establish an advertise product is actually misleading. All they had to do was either rename it from “2 for 1” to “double contents in each pack” , or show the original contents.

Thanks for at least the clarification on this.

Yeah i kinda bought it too assuming i would get two packs. Because it said “2 for one”. but only got one pack. Thats some predatory marketing right there.

I fell for it too… a bit frustrating. 3.5M is still a nice chunk but certainly not as nice when I was expecting 7M.

I put in a ticket, so I’ll await an official reply. That being said, 2 for 1 is a clearly stated offer: 2 of what is advertised.
