I read about how SkinR could be imrpoved in another thread, but I have a different question. Why is SkinR a PLEX item? All the ship decorations are Paragon and payable in EveMarks. Why can we not buy the components from Paragon in the Paragon currency, EveMarks and then sell the completed designs for PLEX? That way there would be fewer limitations on the creation of skins, more skins out there and CCP could still gouge their PLEX from the purchasers?
Edit - Oh and might it be a useful/nice idea if we could rank designs in the Paragon Hub with a 
?

It’s CCP’s way to increase revenue. I agree that it is limiting this way, leaving SKINr designs to be exclusive and expensive for most. However, I find it harmless in terms of gameplay. These are vanity items, just a paintjob on your hull. It doesn’t matter if it costs 200 PLEX or 20 PLEX, or 20 Evermarks, or 2b ISK. At the end of the day it has no effect on how your ship performs.
The save option is a good one. You can save your designs and put aside some ISK till you can afford to sequence the SKINr designs you want most.

Not really. It’s primarily an income source for CCP.
