Would it be possible to include some metrics about the Skinr market into the MER?
Right now this is a blackhole. We have no way of figuring out what to produce and how to price the skins. Since we invest PLEX into producing the skins this makes producing skins a gamble like Hypernet.
Metrics about most purchased skins and price point would be beneficial to all.
We create skins but the only way to advertise them is post them in local chat. Some upgrade to the Paragon hub would be welcome. Would it be possible to make it work a bit more like the normal market? For instance select a ship class or hull and see sold skins for that class over time.
Not correct. You already have a pretty good reference point with CCP-created SKIN market. And I’m being generous pointing it out, as it should be obvious. That’s all the starter data one needs for this, really.
Paragon Hub is a creative outlet in the game. It’s more akin to art in the real world than it is to consumer market products. You’re not supposed to copy others’ designs in order to sell them better. You’re supposed to create your own designs. And, yes, there is a risk. As there should be. You wanna do this, you have to take that risk. If you can’t figure it out what to design, then SKINr market is not for you. Go into something that has predictable input-output values.

Price it. If no one buys it, it is too expensive. If it sells in two days it is too cheap.

I am also curious about Skinr sale and creation stats.
It’s not my intention to copy artwork, as you presume.
I would like to see what hull type skins are popular to buy. So I can create something usefull, that actually get’s worn.
