I was checking my personal assets and noticed an Ishtar in my Jita inventory. This surprised me since although I did buy an Ishtar recently I was sure I only bought one, however I have accidentally bought more items than I intended before so thought that must be it. I checked the drop-down menu and saw I could sell this Ishtar for a decent price so went ahead and sold it. It was then when things got weird; when I checked my Jita assets again there was still an Ishtar there. I once again checked the drop down and noticed the option to sell, which I refrained from doing since although it was possible I accidentally bought two Ishtars I was sure I hadn’t bought more than that. I also had a corvette there which I preceded to trash, but there was still a corvette there even after trashing it (which I again thought odd).
Even more bizarrely, when I docked up I checked my personal assets again and noticed the Jita Ishtar and corvette were no longer there. I hadn’t sold the second (phantom?) Ishtar or trashed the second corvette but now I’m worried the first Ishtar I had sold was also a phantom item and this might count as a fraudulent transaction somehow.
This must be a bug, surely. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced something similar and what happened next.
