I doubt Plex, Injector, or MTC are price manipulation. It’s likely the result of the Winter penalty free injection item. I can only assume that drained the hell out of stock of all these items.
@Dragos_Highwind I’m pretty sure it’s pure manipulation. Someone probably have a big stash of injectors saved up and want to unload them at a premium price. Therefore, they manipulate the items (MPTC and PLEX) used for SP farming to force small SP farmers to shut down their operation (due to little to no profit at all). As a result, injector supply diminishes and price goes up. Then the manipulator slowly unload his stash at a premium price… Just like real stock market trading. Market Maker can manipulate its way up and still win due to cost averaging. Same goes for down trend.
Seems like a lot off effort. Who’d want to buy up mptc and plex right into a 50% off sale?
