So I really liked the updates that FC did for the visuals for mining, gas huffing etc. And it looks really good for the mining lasers but unless my graphics are messed up, there’s nothing for strip miners… and I just think it would be really cool to have upgraded mining visuals for strip miners. Since a lot of people myself included use now exclusively strip miners.
I’m pretty sure strip miners too should have that mining animation, are you sure you’ve got the right graphics settings on?
And try relogging, some effects don’t appear if turned on while you’re already in space.

As mentioned, its the same animation as the T1 and T2 lasers…same sound, same everything.
Oooh ok thanks I’ll try that, I did I fact turn them on while in space. That makes a lot more sense.
Ya, I just had a buggy experience, and i now have remedied it…
