Surrender to war

Hi,

So I was involved in two recent wars and I must have missed something, because the defender surrendered without my consent.

According to the official article:
“If a surrender offer made by one of the warring parties is accepted by the other, the war ends immediately (with the usual 24 hour cooldown), and neither party will be able to declare war onto each other again for 2 weeks (14 days).”

So, how did the defender surrendered without me accepting? Is there a response time after surrender offer has been made?

Haven’t done anything on my side, war bill was paid.

Did they just close the corp?

Closing the target corp, or closing the corp and immediately remaking it, ends the war.
