Hello there, today I’d like to let people know about the Incursion community The Ditanian Fleet (TDF). We’re an open newbro friendly group that anyone is welcome to fly with. Well as long as you don’t have killrights against you or any ongoing wardec, That’s mainly for your own safety as we don’t want you to die. We also exclude anyone that has previous history of ganking highsec incursion runners for fleet safety reasons.
The Ditanian Fleet is an armor doctrine incursion community. We run everything from Vanguards (10 person), to Assaults (20 person), To Headquarters (40 person) Incursion sites. We have fleet commanders from all over the world so you should be able to, as long as there is enough people, find at least a Vanguard fleet up and running. The Assault and Headquarters fleet tend to run more in the evening 15:00 evetime on wards weekdays. Weekends Headquarter fleet can be up 24/7. Also the backbone of our doctrine is made up of Armor tanked battleships.
Note1: We are always looking for more fleet commanders to run fleets. If that’s your thing come join us, let us get to know you, try and train up and max out one battleship. There’s no need to train for a fleet booster as we have many people capable of boosting the fleet. Once you’ve got that one maxed out Battleship and we’ve got to know you speak to one of our Trainer FC about joining the FC team.
Note2: Alpha are welcome on a limited time basis. Although we do expect you to upgrade to Omega as soon as possible though. Which as we make over 100+ mill an hour in raw ISK not counting loyalty points. It shouldn’t take you to long to do. The reason for this is to keep the fleet standards as high as possible to maintain fast site completion times.
Armor Vs Shields
Unsure about joining an Armor fleet due to your skills being mainly for shield tanking, well think on this. If you can fit a Tech 2 damage control unit (hull upgrades level 4), which is a requirement for any shield fleet. Then all you need to get, to start of with, are the Armor compensation skills trained up to lvl 3 and Armor rigging to lvl 3 to fly with us. Which should if irrc only take around 24 hours at most.
The advantages an Armor fleets has over a shield fleet are simply this :-
Armor fleets are far safer, as your tank is not cap dependent. So if you get neuted out by say an Outuni npc which has capital sized neuts your tank wont turn off. We also use the Nestor battleship which is equal to two conventional tech 2 cruiser logi. The Marauders like the Kronos and Paladin also carry armor repairers and the new Precursor battleship the Leshack has enough constant repping power it’s equal to 0.55 cruiser logi. So we have more reps then we could ever need on grid at anyone time ready to save your ship.
Also due to the low slots being used for tanking the mid slots on your ship are freed up for damage application mods. Which allows us to kill NPC much faster.
It used to be that shield fleets had the most dps. That’s no longer true thanks to the Leshack & Nestor. With every Nestor on grid we can remove a Tech 2 cruiser logi and add another DPS or sniper boat. Then there’s the Leshack, It starts of DPS wise as equivalent to a shield Nightmare battleship. In 30 to 40 seconds it’s on par with a shield Vindicator. At full ramp up it’s like having a maxed out blinged fit pve carrier on grid, dps wise.
Your also less likely to be a target of gankers if you fly in an armor fleet. Shield fleets use Pithum A-types adaptive Invuls that cost around 1.5 billion ISK each. You can get the armor equivalent A-type EANM for nearly half the price.

What are Incursions?
Incursions are automated events introduced with the Incursion expansion in which the NPC faction known as the Sansha’s Nation, led by Sansha Kuvakei , invade space in an attempt to conquer it for themselves. Capsuleers must fight off Sansha’s forces in order to return the contested space back into an area which can be more safely occupied.
High-end PvE fleet content
Incursions are high-end PvE fleet content, well above that of regular level four missions and have more in common with level five missions than anything else. The introduction of incursions to the game added some much needed incentive for fleet content in highsec. It also gave people a very controlled environment to train up their skills as a logistics pilot as well as giving people a feel for organized fleets outside of general PvP.
Contrary to missions, incursion fleets rely on buffers and resists supported by logistics ships in order to survive. The ships you face in incursions use electronic warfare, capacitor warfare as well as playing on speed and signature to their advantage. This forces incursion fleets to find ways around that in order to be successful.
To find us in game join the chat channel TDF-Official . You can do this by clicking the little plus button where your chat window is at the top. Then in the channels box type TDF-Official and then click join.
Once you join the TDF chatroom you should see some writing. That writing is called the Message of the day (MOTD) read it all carefully as it should explain many of your questions. Like where we are, if the fleet is running or not. It should also have several mailing list listed which have the recommend fits that are covered by our ship replacement program (SRP).

To join the mailing lists open up your evemail and then at the bottom left click add mailing list. In the box that opens type the name of the mailing list then click join
Note: TDF-FITS VG1 are the Vanguard fits TDF-FITS HQ1 are fits for the big 40 person sites. You need a microwarp drive and more tank to fly HQ sites.
The mailing list has a nice wide selection of fits covered by ship replacement program (SRP) starting with Apocalypse/Megathron/Tempest up to the advanced fits of Paladin/Kronos/Leshark/Vindicator/Nightmare/Machariel.
Pick a fit you would like to fly. If you need help just ask in the chat channel for any advice getting setup. The general rule of thumb is when we run Vanguards you need 9850 raw armor + 55% min omni resists for tank. For assaults & HQ you need 17k raw armor + 65% min omni resists for tank.
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU TRAIN THE ARMOR COMPENSATION SKILLS TO LVL 4 A.S.A.P. TRAINING EXPLOSIVE ARMOR COMP TO LVL 5 CAN HELP A LOT WITH YOUR TANK
Now you have your ship setup you’re nearly there and ready to join fleet. First things first, you need to make sure your safety is set to green. You can see this buy undocking your ship. Once in space make sure you have a green button just to the top left of the Shield/Armor/Hull.
While out in space also make sure your shield/armor/hull alarms are turned on and set to 95%. You do this by clicking on the hamburger menu to the bottom right of your shield/armor/hull and then click the configure ship health alerts.
Another thing you can do while in space is to set your drones to passive and focus fire. If you have drones in your ships dronebay, this can be done via clicking the hamburger menu in the top left of your drone window.
Again another thing you need to do is to set auto decline to duel invites and to set auto targeting back to zero. By pressing escape and then going to the general settings menu.
Last thing to do now is setup your broadcast while in fleet. First you need to open the fleet window and then click form fleet.
Once you’ve formed a fleet make sure that the broadcast buttons are showing. You do this by making sure the two arrows are pointing downwards. If they are not, click on the arrows to change there direction and show the broadcast buttons. Also make sure there’s a cross in the bottom right hand corner, which indicates that you broadcast to everyone in fleet. If there’s no cross keep clicking on the icon in the bottom right corner until it changes to a cross.
Also whilst you are here you may as well colour code your broadcast settings. So click the hamburger menu in the top right then click broadcast settings.
Pick whatever colors you would like, below are are the ones i personally use.
Right that’s it for settings, the one last thing you need to do before joining fleet is to have an overview with tags on it preferably with them in the first column. If you don’t know how to set that up look in the TDF-official chat channel and in the Message Of The Day at the bottom you will see TDF_Overview v1 . Click on that and then click yes to load the official TDF overview for incursions.
Note: If you need to reload the MOTD because you can’t see what you need left click the cog wheel in the top right corner then left click reload MOTD.
