The… story… the player here is a famous(?) female metal drummer and that costume is Nyango Star, a mascot of an apple possesed by a cat spirit and it plays heavy metal drums to promote the city which adopted it as a mascot. Or something like this. I mean, it’s Japan, it just needs to make sense there, not here…
And now i’m off to bed. Nighties lovelies!
Also: don’t be a software engineer.
There are better options, really. Like. tasting insect food.
My almost-something-inlaws were cake makers and they used to make some epic birthday cakes for the children in family… The key are food dyes and sugar coatings, apparently. For one of the birthdays they made a Peppa Pig cake (not fully 3D, just Peppa in high-relief on a rectangular cake). That Peppa Pig relief was made of marzipan and had a colored sugar coating and they also made sugar flowers around Peppa… we brought back home some slices of the cake and ate them the day after.
The key actually is every piece MUST be EDIBLE. That’s the acme of skill. If even Peppa’s eyes or shoes aren’t made of edible material, then either of them is a waste that goes to trash.
The cake walls are KitKats!
And this is my favorite:
I think I’m recovering quicker than I thought.
Timezone lovelies.
I saw that on the news, it’s shocking how dangerous still is underground mining, specially coal mining.
There used to be coal mines in Spain, but they shut down eventually since their coal was of poor quality (tons of sulphur in it) and no amount of subsidies by the governemnt could keep the business alive as nobdy bought that coal, at one point not even coal power stations could burn Spanish coal since it would mess with their emission reduction systems. As usual in cases like this, the mines’ country has never fully recovered from losing their main business, although it has unexploited tourism potential because of mountains and nature.

Also: 7 of Bach’s 14 canons visualyzed in 3D to better understand their musical structure
Probably because it would be quite complicated to operate and use as of this day, or service. They dont look finished to me also, its live very advanced prototype I think.
The Daily Star has setup a live broadcast of a lettuce, taking bets on whether the lettuce (with a shelf life of 10 days) will outlast or not the Prime Minister. The broadcast has some lighting effects and a background soundtrack (light music by day and whale sounds by night).
