Thanks also for all the other thoughts everyone. I’ve been eating non-stop (thanks @Morgan_Wulver, wanna name my food baby?), being mindful of crew exposure (thanks @Jennifer_Maxwell, who needs an on-board chef when you’re headed to Gallente space anyway right?! Syntaki bbq kicks ass), and I’m gonna freeball the next trip down to stain in my capsule. Nudie run! (thanks @Valerie_Valate) It’s gonna be fab

Our cluster is full of beautiful things, but terrible ones as well. And, sometimes it is helpful to recognize them, especially when you’re a young pilot, so you can see with your own eyes what is going on behind the curtains.
I could recommend you to visit Black Rise region, any high security system, grab a probe scanner and look for ‘Federal Detention Facilities’. Probably you will need to break through with help of a more skilled pilot and you might need to obtain the key first, but what lies inside - is something that everyone shall see.
It always reminds me why and against which monsters we are fighting. It will show how much of inhuman monstrosities are those who serve Federation… and if you will have a chance, try to save some people from hands of these brutal torturers.
Things to appreciate when starting out as a caspuleer?, hmmm. Others have given many excellent answers, so i’ll just add Paranoia. Appriciate it, nurish it. Just because a system looks fine, there could be something lurking behind a roid or a moon, it has kept many a capsuleer in one piece.
