:glowing_star: Key Features

* Real-Time Translation: Translates incoming chat messages instantly as they appear in your game.

* EVE Slang Preservation: Powered by specialized translation logic, the tool preserves EVE-specific terminology (e.g., *Gate Camp, Tackle, Cyno, Bubble, Scrammed*) instead of translating them into literal, confusing words.

* Multi-Language Support: Translates between English, German, Russian, Chinese (CN), Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Turkish, and more.

* Easy Outgoing Messages: Type your message, and let the app translate and copy/paste it back into EVE Online.

* Independent: Use it anywhere! It is completely independent of your Alliance, Corporation, or coalition IT setups.

:locked: 100% Secure & Privacy-First (EULA Compliant)

We built this tool with the security of EVE Online players as our highest priority:

1. NO EVE Online Login Required: The app does NOT ask for your EVE Online username, password, or character credentials. It does not use ESI login.

2. Read-Only Log Files: It functions by reading the plain-text chat log files that the EVE Online client writes directly to your hard drive (`Documents/EVE/logs/Chatlogs`). It does not inject code, hook into the game process, or modify game files.

3. No Data Harvesting / Chat Theft:

* Your chats are not collected, stored, or sold.

* The app features a *Local Learning* engine (ENLE AI) that learns EVE terms locally.

* Only anonymous, contextless phrases are synced with our Strato learning server to improve translations for all players. No character names, corporation/alliance names, or private conversations are ever sent.

* You can disable server sync entirely in the settings with a single click.

Google also has a free translator.

No download required.

I speak 3 languages besides English and Google Translate 50% of the time doesn’t translate correctly. This is especially true to eastern and Scandinavian languages.

I’ve sat in Frat space trying to translate and it’s even worse lmao.

bumped this into Communications Center > My EVE

The own AI assistant ENLE AI achieves a translation accuracy of about 92%. Together with OLLMA AI, they are on par with premium translator AIs like ChatGPT and DeepSeek. ENLE AI and Ollma together reach 98% only 1% less than DeepSeek and all of this completely free. So a download would be very worthwhile. Google Translate is also available as a fallback level, but its performance is weak, no question. In addition, the program offers a direct live translator, meaning you don’t have to copy or paste anything to translate it, as you would otherwise have to do with Google Translate.

[Tool Update] EVE Chat Translator v3.0.0 — ENLE AI Evolution (Local Self-Learning AI for EVE Online)

Hey Capsuleers o7

After months of development, I just finished the biggest update ever for my EVE Chat Translator project.

What originally started as a simple chat translator for EVE Online has evolved into something much bigger:

A self-learning local AI translation engine specifically built for EVE communication.

The goal was simple:

Solve language barriers in New Eden without relying entirely on cloud APIs or expensive translation services.

What makes ENLE AI different?

Instead of sending every translation request to external APIs, ENLE AI uses a multi-layer intelligent translation system.

Current translation pipeline:

1. Local SQLite AI Database (~1ms)
Previously learned translations are returned instantly.

2. Local Ollama AI Model (Offline)
Runs completely on your own machine.

3. DeepSeek AI Background Validation
Improves future translations silently in the background.

4. Google Translate Free Fallback
Only used when no better translation exists.

New in v3.0.0

Local Self-Learning AI

Every time you correct a translation, the AI learns permanently.

It builds its own translation memory over time.

No cloud training.

No external data sharing.

Semantic Understanding

The AI no longer searches only exact phrases.

Using vector embeddings, it can understand similar messages.

Example:

“Hostile fleet camping gate”

and

“Enemies holding the gate”

Both get recognized as semantically similar.

Predictive Translation Cache

The system analyzes chat context and predicts common upcoming fleet commands.

Examples:

  • Hold cloak

  • Jump jump jump

  • Align to gate

  • Primary is down

  • Fleet warp

Frequently used commands can appear instantly.

EVE Specific Intelligence

Unlike normal translators, ENLE AI understands EVE terminology.

Protected terminology examples:

  • Gate Camp

  • Bubble

  • Cyno

  • Tackle

  • Pointed

  • Fleet Warp

  • Wormhole Systems

  • Nullsec Intel Calls

No more weird translations like:

Bubble → Soap Bubble
Gate Camp → Camping Gate
Warp Disruptor → Warp Disturber

Fully Local Processing

Everything runs locally.

No memory reading.

No packet sniffing.

No interaction with the EVE client.

Only official log files are processed.

Fully EULA safe.

Why I built this

I play with international pilots and noticed that communication barriers still create huge problems in fleets.

Most translators completely fail when dealing with EVE slang and alliance communication.

So I started building a translator specifically for New Eden.

What began as a small side project slowly turned into a pretty advanced AI system.

Still actively developing.

Would love feedback from the community.

Fly safe o7
